Eyes

Often we don't realise, and just live with it, rather take it for granted - but our eyes are something that show us life, who we are , where are we and everything around us becomes a reality only when we see it from our eyes. Every morning when we wake up, the very act of breaking up from the sleep actually commences by opening our eyes to the world. and similarly in the night, when we are tired and weary....drowned with the wordly worries, our eyes helps us get into a nice escapade, an entry into the world of relaxation and dreams.

Eyes show us colors
Eyes help us see our parents
and our life partner...
and our children....
and helps us meet our siblings...

Eyes help us to read, and attain a degree
and earn our livelihood...

Eyes help us mentally and emotionally...be helping us relax and enjoy...

Without my eyes, I wouldn't have see the blue sea..
I wouldn't have seen the blue sky
and all those mountains and landscapes
the snow covered peaks
and the green pastures...
the cows, buffaloes, and the birds....

Eyes helped me identify my hometown...
and the foreign-land, where I wasn't born...

Eyes take me to the movies,
and to the games...
and to the sports...

Eyes help me have the thrill of driving...or riding...a bike, car, cart, rikshaw, horse...
whatever i want to...

Eyes help me Play
Eyes help me Cry
Eyes help me chuckle
And relish the food first with it's sight...

But do we really care about those 2 small bubbles on your face?
when the strong winds blow...
when the sunshine screams at us....
when we stare at the computer...
when we put on make-ups...
when we rub them upside down...
when we cry hard and forget about being gentle to an organ which is helping us cry...

How many minutes in a year - Do you dedicate to the health and well-being of your eyes?
A question to ponder upon....

when we ignore them...
when we don't give them they food they need...
when we keep shoving in the artificial man-made things to it....
and just rely on man-made glasses to have the joy of vision....

How many minutes in a year - do we dedicate to the well-being of our eyes? a question to ponder upon....

What does a morning bring us?

A new power, a new hope! An opportunity to build something ...marvelous...that leads to something great! Often we get up in the morning, thinking about the day's schedule, many a times feeling lazy to venture into the daily chores, sometimes scared to step into the day looking at the challenges waiting for us. On the other hand some people take full advantage of the morning time, by treating their body and soul nicely, empower themselves to face the day with extra energy - with rays of happiness and success. Do we all not need one thing from life - Happiness! And what brings happiness? Are we able to define it in our own personal diaries? It's so difficult. because at time, happiness is in family...or food...or travel...or career...or relationship...or...I don't know! There is no limit to happiness, rather there is no limit to defining what exactly brings us happiness. God has made human beings into such a species, who wants everything...in order to be happy.

Anyways, mornings for me are an opportunity. It's a blank sheet wherein I can paint any picture that I want. I feel thrilled to receive mornings, to welcome them into my day! The expectations I set from myself in mornings are high, but not concrete. I strongly feel if I break down my expectations into small small steps that I will do today, in order to meet them, then I will be much more productive and successful.

I love the sun, i love the dawn. I love the strolling early morning joggers and empty roads with dew deposited all over. I love the sight of that sun peeping away from the clouds, and that lining of horizon which means a countless things that I can do. I love to watch people rushing towards office, and can feel the rush in their heads. The sips of tea, and the feel of that hot mug in my hands. I love to think about each person in my family and to imagine what they will be doing now.

I welcome the morning, and thank god for letting me enjoy such a beautiful one, every single day in my life!
